Itinerary
Day 1: Embark in Aswan – Uncover the Timeless Charms of the South
Arrive at Aswan Airport or the railway station, where a representative will greet you and assist you before your private transfer in an air-conditioned vehicle to the Nile cruise. Once in Aswan, begin your sightseeing with the Aswan High Dam, a landmark of modern engineering that reshaped Egypt’s approach to irrigation and water control.
Next, head to the Temple of Philae, devoted to the goddess Isis. Set on Agilika Island, the temple was carefully moved here to protect it from rising waters after the dam was built. Take time to appreciate the elegant colonnades and finely carved reliefs that highlight the beauty of ancient Egyptian sacred design.
After the visits, board the cruise and complete check-in. Lunch is served on board, followed by time to unwind as the journey begins. In the evening, enjoy dinner on board while the Nile landscape glows at sunset.

Day 2: Kom Ombo and Edfu – A Journey into Ancient Temples
Have breakfast on board as the ship sails onward, then prepare for a day focused on two of Upper Egypt’s standout temples. Your first stop is Kom Ombo Temple, an unusual double sanctuary honoring Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Walk through the mirrored layout—two entrances and twin halls and shrines—while your guide explains the carved scenes depicting religious traditions and daily life in ancient Egypt.
Back on board, the cruise continues toward Edfu. Lunch is served as you pass the Nile’s green banks and riverside scenery. Later, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned as one of the best-preserved temple complexes in the country. Explore its monumental architecture and detailed reliefs dedicated to Horus.
Return to the ship for dinner, and settle in for the night while docked in Edfu.

Day 3: Luxor West Bank – Into the Heart of Ancient Thebes
After breakfast on board, set out to Luxor’s West Bank to explore the heartland of ancient Thebes. Begin at the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of many pharaohs. Descend into rock-cut tombs and admire vivid wall paintings that depict beliefs about the afterlife, divine worlds, and royal authority.
Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, a striking mortuary temple built against dramatic cliffs. Walk among the pillared terraces and view the carvings that recount the queen’s reign and her story of divine birth.
Conclude the tour at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive seated statues that once guarded a grand temple entrance. Despite centuries of weathering, their scale remains unforgettable.
Return to the cruise for lunch on board. The afternoon is at leisure—relax on the sundeck or enjoy the ship’s facilities as the Nile carries you forward. Dinner is served in the evening, with overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor East Bank – Final Day on Your Nile Cruise

Dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, it impresses with towering columns, sacred lakes, and richly detailed inscriptions and carvings.
Then visit Luxor Temple, located south of Karnak and linked by the Avenue of Sphinxes. Known for its role in festivals and ceremonial life, the temple’s statues and open courtyards offer a powerful glimpse into ancient Egypt’s spiritual world.
After the tour, transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor Airport or the train station for departure, taking with you lasting memories of the Nile’s great monuments.
