Itinerary

Day 1: Aswan Arrival & City Exploration

On arrival in Aswan, you will be welcomed by a representative and transferred to the MS Nile Style for embarkation. After settling in, enjoy lunch on board, then head out to discover Aswan’s highlights. Start with the High Dam, a landmark modern project that reshaped the region. Next, ride by motorboat to the Temple of Philae, beautifully set on the water and devoted to the goddess Isis. Continue to the granite quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk, offering a fascinating look at ancient stonework. Return to the ship to unwind and enjoy a calm evening while docked in Aswan.

Day 2: Temples of Kom Ombo & Edfu

After breakfast, the cruise begins sailing toward Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the distinctive double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder, known for its unusual twin design and riverside setting. Back on board, continue sailing while taking in the Nile views from the sun deck. Later, reach Edfu and take a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride to the Temple of Horus, celebrated as Egypt’s best-preserved temple with grand pylons and detailed carvings. In the evening, enjoy a folkloric show onboard.

Day 3: Luxor’s West Bank Wonders

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, dramatically built into the surrounding cliffs. Then stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the massive seated statues that have watched over the area for millennia. Return to the MS Nile Style for lunch, with the afternoon left free to relax on board.

Day 4: Luxor’s East Bank & Farewell

After breakfast, check out and set out for Luxor’s East Bank treasures. Visit the immense Karnak Temple Complex, famed for its monumental scale and sacred precincts. Then continue to Luxor Temple, linked historically to Karnak by the Sphinx Avenue. After completing the tour, you will be transferred to your destination in Luxor.

Day 1: Luxor East Bank Exploration

Embark on the MS Nile Style before lunch and get comfortable in your cabin. In the afternoon, begin sightseeing with the Karnak Temple Complex, exploring its key features including the Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall, and the sacred lake. Continue to Luxor Temple, admired for its atmosphere in the afternoon light and for the presence of the Abu Haggag Mosque within the site. Return to the cruise for dinner and a restful night while staying in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank & Sail to Esna

Following breakfast, cross to Luxor’s West Bank to explore the famed burial grounds of the pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, with its richly decorated tombs. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a graceful monument rising in terraces against the cliffs, then stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch, then begin sailing toward Esna. Pass through the Esna Lock before continuing onward to Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

Continue with a visit to the Crocodile Mummification Museum, then return to the cruise and sail onward toward Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Highlights

Today is devoted to Aswan’s signature sights. Continue to the granite quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive ancient project left incomplete. The afternoon is free for optional experiences, such as a sailing trip to a Nubian Village.
